An estimated 1200 citizens stood in the cold on Sat 03.28.26 in front of Lakewood City Hall as part of the nationwide No Kings rally for over two hours, the crowd growing larger by the minute. The protesters displayed creatively designed signs and participated in call-and-response chants to protest the Donald Trump administration, the recent murder of US citizens Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti by ICE agents in Minneapolis, illegal immigration practices, the refusal to release the Epstein files that implicate Trump, increasingly authoritarian policies by the US Government, and to assert that our country does not have kings or dictators. Similar protests were held in a dozen locations around Northeast Ohio and in approximately 2100 cities and locations across the country.
