Once again, Cleveland cat lovers will converge on the Goldhorn Brewery’s event space for the annual Meowy Catsmas party, helping to raise money for The Cleveland Flats Cats TNR and the Waterloo Alley Cat Project, which feed, care for and love stray, abandoned and feral cats (and rehome the friendly ones.)
Everyone who loves cats is welcome at this event, which is free. How do they raise money then? Several ways. There’s an optional White Cat Gift Exchange. It’s $5 to participate; you bring a wrapped gift and at several points throughout the evening people randomly swap them. There will be an art auction and numerous raffle baskets with items such as cat supplies (of course), wine (always popular) and even lottery tickets. And there’s a Santa Paws’ gift grab bag — pay a small amount to reach in and grab something.
So come on down, spend an evening talking about your cats with other people showing your pictures of their cats, and help felines in need.
