Wooster-based Ohio Light Opera hasn’t had a full live season in two years, opting for mostly virtual performances & occasional outdoor shows. This year, starting on Sat 6/18, they’ll be back in their home at the College of Wooster for a six-show six-week season. Read more
While the Republicans on the redistricting commission scoffed at Ohio Constitution provisions requiring fair, balanced maps, the Ohio Supreme Court tried to hold them accountable. Alas, the GOP went over their heads to federal judges who shouldn’t have even gotten involved.
Ohio’s future as a democracy literally depends on who we elect to the court this November. Two of the Republicans are being challenged by respected judges from Columbus and Cincinnati, while Jennifer Brunner, who voted for fair maps, and Sharon Kennedy, who voted against them, are facing off for the Chief Justice chair.
