Cleveland Opera Theater Kicks Off Free Summer Concerts in Medina

Sat 6/19 @ 7PM

Cleveland Opera Theater opens its series of Opera for All family-friendly summer concerts returning to Medina’s Uptown Park gazebo stage for the sixth year for a free concert under the stars, sponsored by Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO).

They’ll combine some familiar tunes from operettas, operas and musicals that you’ll probably recognize, long with some more obscure pieces, all of them short and bite-sized for easy digestion. Performers include soprano Amber Monroe, tenor Brian Skoog, bass James Eder and accompanist Jason Aquila, Music Director for the Voice Performance program at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets, and a picnic basket. In case of rain, the concert will be at the United Church of Christ in downtown Medina.
