It’s a bit late for Mardi Gras, so you’ll just have to break your Lenten deprivation period to come down to the Cleveland Museum of Art for the monthly MIX adult party.
The theme is “masquerade.” You can come dressed in costumed finery and an extravagant mask, or you can make your own Mardi Gras mask at the museum inspired by masks from around the world in the galleries. The museum earns though that “Heavy face paint, Mardi Gras beads, glitter, weapon-like props, excessively oversized costumes and full face masks are not permitted.”
DJ Walk and Da Land Brass Band of GUMBO dance party will be providing appropriate signs to activate the dance floor. Food will be available for purchase in Provenance Café until 8:30pm and of course, the cash bar will be open all evening.
Admission is $10 in advance, $15 at the door. CMA Members are free.
