With perfect weather — cool but not uncomfortable — the 11th annual Brite Winter festival attracted a huge crowd to the West Bank of the Flats from virtually the time its doors opened until late at night. Several outdoor and indoors stages offered a variety of mostly local talent, highlighted by such bands as Honey and Blue, Uptight Sugar and the Vines from Youngstown. Tents and indoor locations provided fun things to do and climb on, with installations courtesy of Ingenuity festival’s Ingeneers adding the creative atmosphere. The location, underneath a soaring bridge with storage silos and a huge ship in the background, lit up with projections as darkness felt, made for an ambiance that’s uniquely Cleveland.
