Thu 1/9-Sun 1/12
The annual NARI Home Improvement Show has made a big move in its 39th year: from the I-X Center to the downtown Huntington Convention Center.
You’ll find the same huge array of remodelers, home decorators and special guests with more information about making your home into your personal paradise than you can possibly take in in one day — or in the four days the show runs.
On Sat 1/11 you can hear from celebrity guest Alison Victor of HGTV’s Kitchen Crashers, Windy City Rehab and Rock the Block, or visit the Chef’s Table area with interactive cooking demonstrations all four days designed, naturally, to make you covet an upgraded kitchen. For ambitious home remodelers aiming to create indoor summer year-round, there’s the hot tub and swim spa pavilion. For creating a healing, healthy environment with less cost and maintenance, visit Cleveland’s Susie Frazier (pictured) with her global furniture and homemade home accents inspired by nature. She’ll be doing seminars on “Designing for Wellness” each day, showing how you can create a mini-paradise for a reasonable amount of money.
Admission is $14 each day.
