Western Reserve Herb Society Hosts 74th Annual Herb Fair @ Cleveland Botanical Garden

Sat 10/12 @ 10AM-3PM

The Western Reserve Herb Society is responsible for designing, planting and maintaining the beautiful herb garden at the Cleveland Botanical Garden.

And now that peak herb-growing season is coming to an end, they host their annual Herb Fair there to share their knowledge, their enthusiasm and all the wonderful things that can be done with herbs. There’ll be a lot of herbal products for sale, naturally: teas, jams & jellies, bakery, body care products, potpourri, wreaths and dried arrangements and more.

The event also features short talks by WRHS members about growing and using herbs, with more informal advice being offered at the booths. And you can take a tour of the herb garden with a member of the group who will explain the various sections, including cooking herbs, medicinal herbs, herbs used for dyeing, old roses, edible flowers, and the terrace and knot gardens.

The herb fair — the 74th annual! — is free with regular CBG admission.
