Naturally, this month’s Walkabout Tremont is all about Halloween. Dubbed “Trick or Treat: Art and Eat,” it features all the usual art openings at local businesses and specials at the area’s many bars, loungers and restaurants.
But there will also be a costume contest for dogs and their people, pumpkin carving, pumpkin carving and pumpkin decorating for both grownups and kids. Since the cold weather hasn’t quite set in, there’ll still be live performances and musicians in the street. But the big hit is sure to be the Gaelic Glen alpacas, who return to the event for more petting and, if past is any predictor, will be dolled up in Halloween finery.
