Cleveland Drafts on Larchmere Features Readings of Works in Progress

Sat 10/12 @ 1-9PM

For lover of all things literary, Larchmere Boulevard is the place to be Sat 10/12 when the second annual Cleveland Drafts Festival takes place. No, “drafts” doesn’t refer to beer despite the ubiquity of breweries in town, although there are plenty of places to get a drink (or a bite to eat) along Larchmere.

Rather, it’s a literary crawl, which fills the neighborhood with local writers of all types, and includes publishers, performers and organizations which support the arts — especially writing — in Cleveland. Six venues are participating in eight events featuring close to three dozen writers, whose works-in-progress will be read and/or performed.

Of course, Loganberrt Books is at the heart of it where a panel featuring Daniel Gray-Kontar, Noor Hindi, Christine Howey, Zachary Thomas, and Catherine Wing takes place, moderated by Noelle Celeste of the City Club (and founding publisher of Edible Cleveland).

Other events take place throughout the day at the Academy Tavern, Wolf’s Gallery, Larchmere Fire Works, Larchmere Tavern, Larchmere Arts and Shaker Auto Body. It’s free and open to all. Go here for a schedule of events.
