Baseball Heritage Museum Hosts Its First Pride Day

Sun 6/23 @ 1-4PM

Major League Baseball doesn’t have a history of being welcoming to gay players, which is undoubtedly why none have come out while still playing, although a few have done so once their careers have ended. You’d find far more open homophobes in the sport.

But that’s not stopping the Baseball Heritage Museum at League Park from celebrating its own Pride Day for the first time ever. It’s welcoming people of all sexual and gender identities to come and check out their exhibits and hang out with other baseball fans, gay and straight. There’ll be refreshments, a raffle and a free “The BHM Has Pride” souvenir.

RSVPs are appreciated but not required.
