Paul Pope Gets His Old Band Back Together to Say Farewell at the Music Box

Thu 4/25 @ 7:30PM

Guitarist/vocalist Paul Pope hit the local music scene in the mid 70s with Lorain-based Molkie Cole who built a regional following with their high-energy, colorful show featuring costumes and face paint. He had left the band for a solo career and moved out to Los Angeles by the early 80. By the early 00s he had moved back to northeast Ohio and formed another iteration of the Paul Pope Band, which also included former Beau bassist Bill March and guitarist Bill Sullivan.

Pope is now saying he’s hanging up his rock & roll shows, and going out in style with a reunion of the Paul Pope Band — and “special guests.” Come down and find out who they are and say goodbye to this rocker of four and a half decades at the Music Box Supper Club.

Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 day of show.
