Three of the Area’s Best Jazz Pianists Join Forces for an Evening at Nighttown

Sun 3/24 @ 7PM

Cleveland has a wealth of talented jazz musicians on all instruments, and piano is no exception. Musician/composer/retired educator and author of the recent textbook Jazz Piano Essentials Cliff Habian and musician/educator/music minister David Thomas are veterans of the area jazz scene, while Akron-based Zanesville native Theron Brown, who has already toured internationally and played jazz keyboard legend Herbie Hancock in a film, is one of the younger guns of local jazz.

All three will perform at “Gentlemen of the Piano,” at Nighttown in different combinations during the concert. They’ll be ably supported by bassist Eli Heath and drummer Sunny Tabler. Tickets are $20.
