We all miss Dru Thompson’s storefront shop, Dru Christine Fabrics & Design, on Waterloo Road. Alas, she outgrew the space last year and moved down to the Superior Arts District where she has a much more spacious workspace and shop in the Lake Affect building.
It gives her a lot more room to display her wares, including the array of men’s accessories and apparel suitable for Father’s Day gift-giving. (That’s on June 17th — just a reminder!) She’ll be hosting a pop-up shop the next three weekends so you can stop down and pick up a unique item, perhaps one of her extensive line of bowties in patterns such as camouflage, kente or Ankara, a Wakanda theme, or one honoring his favorite sports team. She’s got greeting cards too and plenty of items that fit a kid’s budget.
