Tour the Town and Enjoy Student Art at the Lakewood Coffee Shop Hop

Sun 4/15 @ 2-5PM

How many coffee shops can you visit in a single afternoon? Hit Lakewood and work fast to try to get that number up to seven during the Lakewood Coffee Shop Hop. Or just pick and choose from the seven coffee shops that will be displaying student artwork during this community event.

In addition to the work on display, all the shops will serve their drinks in a special cup with an ink drawing by Lakewood High School student Micah Inak, who won a contest for the honor, coordinated by the office of Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur who will make an appearance at the event. The afternoon kicks off at the Root Café on Detroit Avenue where a brief ceremony will honor Inak.

Afterwards, participants can visit the shops and get cup stamped at each location to be eligible for a gift card drawing — and they don’t have to rush around and do it all today. Visit the shops during the week before noon Fri 4/20; the drawing happens at 5pm that day.

Other participating businesses are Addicted Coffee and Ice Cream, Blackbird Baking Company, Goodkind Coffee, Ice Cream Joy, Rising Star Coffee Roasters and the Tea Lab.
