Head of the Cuyahoga Regatta Brings Rowers From Around the Country to Cleveland

Sat 9/16 @ 8AM-4PM

Want to bask in the reinvention of the Cuyahoga River as a site for creation? Come on down to the annual Head of the Cuyahoga Regatta, hosted by the Cleveland Rowing Foundation, which aims to get more people out on the river with their hands on oars.

High school, college and adult teams from around the country will be competing in sweep and sculling events, with more and more people discovering the beauty of our river and its surroundings since the event started in 1996. The river will be closed to commercial traffic during the event. It’s free to watch.
