The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland provides an essential service in this high-poverty area, providing legal services to low-income clients in non-criminal areas such as housing, employment, consumer rights, foreclosure, utility shutoff and tax issues.
In order to do what they do and serve more clients, they need to raise money. One way they do so is with their annual Jam for Justice. The event, taking place at Crop Rocks on the East Bank of the Flats, features food, drinks, raffles, a DJ and seven bands — all of them featuring local judges, attorneys and law students.
