It’s the best time of the year for lovers of fresh produce — when everything is ripening and the harvest is starting to pour in.
Among the things ready for picking are blueberries. You can join a “picking party” at the Voytoko Berry Farm that will feature blueberries and bluegrass music. In addition, Kelli Hanley Potts from Geauga County’s Agrarian Collective will share tips on how to preserve those berries when you’ve picked too many and recipes in which you can use those berries.
And there’s local beer! What more could you want in a summer night in the country?
