Now in its 41st year, the Print Club of Cleveland’s Fine Print Fair at the Cleveland Museum of Art gives almost everyone the opportunity to become an art collector, even if they can’t bid tens of millions at a Sotheby’s auction.
Fifteen print dealers from around the country (and Cleveland) will be setting up in CMA’s Ames Family Atrium, offering prints in a wide range of styles, printmaking processes, and price points, ranging from vintage collectibles to prints by contemporary artists. And in this informal setting, all of them will be happy to chat with you about what they have to offer and show you things that align with your tastes. The print fair also includes demonstrations so you can see firsthand how some of these prints are created.
While the three-day print fair is free and open to the public, if you want to explore getting serious you can buy a ticket to the preview party on Thursday April 16, and learn more about the Print Club of Cleveland. Money raised benefits the Print Club and its mission of promoting print collecting.
