Concertgoers at Blossom Music Center tonight will get two concerts in one — or maybe it’s three, depending on how you count.
The evening starts a little earlier than usual for a Saturday with the Kent/Blossom Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Brett Mitchell, playing Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll and Ravel’s La Tombeau de Couperin.
At 8pm, the Cleveland Orchestra, conducted by John Storgårds, will play Beethoven’s Overture to Fidelio and Liszt’s Piano Concert No. 1, featuring soloist Stephen Hough.
Finally both groups will amass onstage to blow the roof off the pavilion with Sibelius’ Symphony No. 2.
