Jilly’s Music Room, located in downtown Akron, was the Northside for almost two decades, closing in late 2012. Now as Jilly’s, it provides a stage for some of Akron’s most talented original musicians in a variety of genres and an occasional regional or nation touring act Wednesdays though Saturday, usually with no cover. (Northside mainstays like blues singer Wanda Hunt and classic rockers the Midlife Chryslers still play here).
