In 2014, Joshua Sias and Frances Cheng launched a series of vegan pop-up events at various east side locations. In the early summer of 2019, they became the area’s first fully vegan establishment, something you’d generally have to cross town to Lakewood to find.
They took over the former location of middle eastern/Greek hybrid Greedy Girl, a small storefront with two dozen seats to serve Asian-influenced fusion food with many Japanese/Korean notes. “Our goal is to contribute to the reduction of suffering by creating delicious and affordable cruelty-free food that people, regardless of their dietary preferences, can enjoy,” the owners say.
