The term “anti-folk” become popular in the ’90s to describe an acoustic performer with a little more edgy aggressiveness than cloying sensitivity. A group of guys, headed up by Founding Fathers guitarist/vocalist John Kalman, got together to do an anti-folk acoustic night at the Grog Shop in January. Apparently, they had fun because they’re doing it again. Kalman will be joined by Chris Anderson, Kevin McCann and Brian Sespico. Admission is $5, but if you bring a dish to share, you get in free.
