Carving Out a Unique Place in NEO’s Art Scene
The Sculpture Center is a relative newcomer to Northeast Ohio’s inventory of art museums, and it has found a distinct niche in advancing local sculptors through exhibits and education and in preserving the region’s outdoor sculpture by inventorying and creating an online listing of these works and monitoring their conservation and maintenance.
Through these efforts, The Sculpture Center has become a resource for the public of NEO as well, creating a forum for presenting the area’s emerging and established sculptors and their works and educating those interested in preserving the rich sculptural resources of our region.
