There’s a lot on the ballot November 3 (or you can vote early!) and you should check out your ballot in advance on your board of elections website to know what you’ll be voting for. But the marquee races—the ones that could be life-changing for Ohio—are the governor’s and senator’s race. The former pits physician Dr. Amy Acton against billionaire entrepreneur Vivek Ramasawmy, while the senate race finds former senator Sherrod Brown attempting to reclaim a place in that body from incumbent Jon Husted. While both candidates for governor have no elected experience, both senate candidate are “career” politicians, which isn’t necessary bad—it depends what they’ve done.

Polling shows that both contests are extremely close which is new for Ohio, a state so gerrymandered to favor Republicans that many voters have become discouraged and stay home. One sign of how competitive it is: out-of-state political stars are once again flooding into Ohio, which they’ve ignored for years. The current president has already made two appearances in the state in one week: one in the Dayton area, another in Youngstown, where he gushed over Senator Husted’s body and attractive “ass.” (Yes, he used that word.)

Now the other team is stepping up. It’s been announced the former President Barack Obama will be in Cleveland on Saturday October 24 for an afternoon rally in support of Sherrod Brown and Dr. Acton. Details such as time and place have not yet been announced, and they’ve said the location will only be announced the day before the event. But you can sign up to be there. Go HERE. Don’t worry: Obama is wildly unlikely to assess Sherrod Brown’s physical assets.
