Molto Bene Italian Eatery’s owner Gonzalo Egozcue has been making gelato for two decades and distributing it to various area restaurants. In August 2017 he and his wife opened their own place in Lakewood called Molto Bene Italian Eatery. The small, casual restaurant, which is open only for dinner, serves all the Italian classics that have become staples: personal pizzas, pastas, eggplant parmesan, veal scaloppini, along with daily specials. And yes, for dessert, there’s gelato — 16 varieties.
