Thu 3/9 @ 7PM

Fri 3/10 @ 7PM

It’s time for the youthful musician/apprentices at Apollo’s Fire chamber orchestra to shine. AF’s Young Artist Apprentices program trains selected pre-professional conservatory students over a two to four-year period in the baroque style Apollo’s Fire specializes in. The AF Musette Ensemble is a group of 11-17 year-old singers aspiring to perform on a profession level.

The Young Artist Apprentices/AF Musettes, conducted by director of youth education Margaret Carpenter Haigh, will perform Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s well-known 1736 sacred work, Stabat Mater, along with chamber music from Italy’s baroque churches in two 75-minute concerts.

They’ll perform Thu 3/9 at Forest Hill Presbyterian Church in Cleveland Heights and Fri 3/10 at the First Congregational Church in Hudson. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students with ID and youth under 18. Students and youth are free in Hudson.
