The Shaker Arts Council has partnered with an arts group based in Shaker Heights to present a performance called Ballet Under The Stars as part of its Heart of the Art programing.

Ohio Contemporary Ballet (formerly Verb Ballets) is based at the OCBallet Center at The Dealership (3558 Lee Road), which is where the performance will take place. The evening kicks off with a free ballet class for kids 3-12 at 6pm, before the 7pm performance of highlights from the company’s repertoire. It will also include an opening performances by students from its Youth Academy.

The performance is free and open to the public and will go on if it rains. Bring a lawn chair! For reservations go to www.shakerartscouncil.org.
