Since it moved to its new location, Visible Voice Books has become something of a small music venue, hosting concerts several times a week, with several series including the monthly Masters of American Music, hosted by the educational nonprofit Roots of American Music.
Another series is its Saturday sessions, where you can drop in to browse, grab a snack and a cup of coffee (they now have a full coffeeshop and café) and then head to the back of the store where the former movie theater is now a small stage for its free Saturday Sessions with a variety of area musicians.
Taking the stage this Saturday is Henry Lo Conti III, guitarist, vocalist and frontman for rapidly rising young rockers LoConti. With his band, he helps forges a driving rock sound that updates classic rock with contemporary influences to create music with broad appeal. On his own, he’ll likely showcase his songwriting skills as well as his interpretations of some of his favorite classics. He’s one of the area’s most gifted young singers and songwriters and this will be a chance to see that side of him shine outside of the band.
