Morgan Conservatory Invites Volunteers to Join Them for "Beautification Day"

Sat 7/18 @ 9AM-noon

Want to get your hands dirty and help a local arts organization? Sign up to help out the folks at Morgan Conservatory on Beautification Day. They’ve been working on upgrading their outdoor environment so there may be a lot of opportunities going forward, but on the morning of Saturday July 18, they’re looking for volunteers to help care for their Sam Caraboolad paper garden, the largest garden kozo (Japanese mulberry) in the U.S. whose bark is used in papermaking, as well as spruce up the campus for future programs.

They also have weekly drop-in gardening volunteer days throughout July on Wednesdays-Fridays, 9am-noon. If you plan to volunteer, please email Maria Armijo at marmijo@morganconservatory.org so we know when to expect you. And plan to join other volunteers for a community cookout on Saturday July 25.
