The Midnight Rental Secret Movie Nights at the Grog Shop are catnip for trashy movie fans (the movies are trashy, not the fans). They’re hosted by Lenora and Ben Joines-Mundy from the Internet series Midnight Rental, which you can find on the Found Footage Festival YouTube channel.
Each month, they dig deep into their archives and pull out a campy VHS horror or thriller movie, and sweeten the pot with some hilariously bad old commercials preceding the main event. And all night there will be a selection of classic movie theater food available for purchase including popcorn, candy, chips and pizza rolls in addition to the Grog Shop’s usual bar.
Admission is just $10, which won’t get you into many real movie theaters these days. Get more information here.
