Artists Archives of the Western Reserve hosts its members show every year, where artist/members submit a piece in any medium for display. The packed shows, hung salon style, demonstrate the support AAWR and its mission have from its hundreds of member artists. This year is a little different though: the organization is reopening following a period of remodeling the storage systems in which it archives the work of significant Northeast Ohio artists. It’s the first time the public will be able to visit since December 2025.
Come see the work they’ve completed at the opening reception on Friday May 1. There you can vote for the People’s Choice Award (which you can do throughout the show), and at the closing reception and awards ceremony on May 30, the four top voting-getting artists will get cash prizes.
The exhibit and reception are free and open to all.
