Tremont’s convergence-continuum theater has a new series launching this weekend called the Verum Project, which will present one-weekend performances of new shows by NE Ohio playwrights.
It kicks off with I Got Questions, written and performed by Josy Jones, actor, director and playwright, and founder of the Chameleon Village Theater Collective, an Akron-based ensemble that makes theater for non-tradition spaces. C-c’s home, The Liminis, is an actual theater, but Jones’ piece sounds like it’s adaptable to almost any space. In the one-woman show, she holds a conversation with her close friends, a tree. In that conversation, we’re told, “the protagonist explores profound questions about reconnecting with both the natural world and her inner self, examining the forces that shape human existence: love, desire, evolution, technology, and the invisible rules we encounter daily.”
There will be three performances. Go here for tickets.
