Painter Lisa Kenion, whose work is well known around Northeast Ohio, has a show currently on view at Stella’s Art Gallery in Willoughby, titled Dreams and Icons.
She says that the work spans nearly 20 years and includes several different subjects, including the feminine perspective in ancient and modern societies, astronomy and physics, and sound phenomena. But, she says, “To my mind, these subjects are in relation. My intention and hope is that the viewer might come to also see relationship I endeavor to present.”
The show runs from July 1-31, but this Saturday Kenion will be in the gallery for an artist reception with live music, when you can meet and talk to her ab out her work. It’s free and open to all.
