Trout Steak Revival aren’t well known around the Great Lakes region but they’ve become a pretty big deal out west around their native Colorado where they won the 2014 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition.
But there’s no reason they couldn’t win audiences elsewhere, with their lively, acoustic bluegrass-heavy Americana/folk music, garnished with appealing harmony vocals. They just haven’t played out here before. But they’re on their way to a festival in New York state, so they’re making their regional debut at Peninsula’s appropriately rustic historic G.A.R. Hall as part of its Voices in the Valley series.
