Learn How Plays Come Alive at “Staging Your Story” at the Euclid Tavern

Wed 6/20 @ 7-9PM

Playwrights Local, founded to produce new works by local authors, and Literary Cleveland, devoted to encouraging and connecting local writers and readers, have joined together to put on a program called “Staging Your Story,” taking place at the Happy Dog at the Euclid Tavern.

Christopher Johnston, a playwright who has had many of his works produced on local stages, will moderate a discussion with playwright Les Hunter and director Terrence Spivey. They’ll talk about how to make a script come to life and engage an audience through casting, sets and direction. The discussion will be followed by a question and answer session. It’s free and open to all.
