Akron-based guitar star Neil Zaza has travelled all over the U.S. and the world with his virtuoso instrumental music that has attracted admirers everywhere.
When he comes back home to perform, he usually gives his local fans something special to enjoy, such as his Halloween season “One Dark Night …” shows. He’s performed a series of them in his hometown, with the music, production, staging and performers different each year to keep things fresh.
There’s a new venue this year too; Akron’s Goodyear Theater. There he’ll bring his ensemble to perform a mix of classical works by composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin and Prokofiev and distinctive arrangements of classic rock standards by artists such as Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Black Sabbath and the Beatles. Dancers and projected visuals emphasize the scary side of these songs. And he’ll have a special guest musician this year: guitarist Casandra Carson from Springfield, Missouri band Paralandra.
Wear a costume and help set the mood for the show. Get tickets HERE.
