The Cleveland Classical Guitar Society always kicks off its season with its annual showcase, introducing audiences to the season and the scope of what they present.
The 2026 concert will open with a pair of young local classical guitarists Lucas (Yuhao) Chen and Nathaniel Hill. The headlining act veers away from classical guitar into pop, blues, soul and jazz territory, with a pair of Northeast Ohio-based musicians who are staples in the local club and event circuit: much-travelled blues/rock guitarist/vocalist/educator Sam Hooper and keyboardist Moss Stanley, who has led in-demand special events band Nitebridge for decades.
The concert takes place at the Maltz Performing Arts Center, and, as we mentioned already, it’s free but registration is required. Go HERE. The concert will also be livestreamed.
