The long-running Vintage Ohio Wine Festival, taking place at Lake Metroparks Farm Park, describes itself as “the premier food and Wine event of the year.” The competition for that title will now be wide open because Vintage Ohio has announced that this is its last year.
So if you want to attend a festival featuring samples from wineries across Ohio in a rural outdoor setting with tents and picnic tables, go now before it’s too late! More than a dozen wineries — some from the celebrated nearby Grand River area and others from places like Wauseon and Wooster — will be offering around 80 different pours. If you can’t find something you like, you aren’t trying.
In addition to a vast range of varieties from wineries and cideries across the state for you to taste and compare, the event offers lots of food, cooking demonstrations, artisan shopping and three stages of live music — choose a band stage acoustic duo stage and acoustic solo stage according to your taste in music. It’s a complete festival experience, propelled by wine!
