Cleveland’s long-running Inlet Dance Theatre ensemble again makes its free appearance at the annual Heinz Poll Summer Dance Festival, named after the late founder/director of the Akron-based Ohio Ballet. Taking place at Firestone Park, the festival aims to make dance accessible to audiences of all types and all ages.
The evening starts at 7:45 with a presentation by the Children’s Interactive Program of the University of Akron’s Dance Institute. Inlet’s dancers will perform at program of both old and new pieces from their repertory, starting at 8:45. These are the final performances of the company’s 25th anniversary season.
Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the free evening with one of northeast Ohio’s signature dance ensembles.
