The wildly popular, wildly proliferating Touch-a-Truck events aren’t just for kids. At the even coming up at Summit Metro Parks Munroe Falls Metro Park, they tell us, “People of all ages can sit in and explore more than a dozen Summit Metro Parks and local emergency response vehicles.” There might be ambulances, police cars, garbage trucks, construction vehicles — you never know.
There will also be a naturalist activity, a playground and a sandbox play area with toy trucks and other vehicles (that’s for kids!). And Summit Park District’s Maple Leaf Shop will be there will a pop-up (credit cards only). There’s also a sensory-friendly hour from 10-11am with no horns, flashing lights or music.
