Fri 6/5 @ 7:30PM
Cleveland baroque chamber ensemble Les Délices is hosting its gala benefit Pinstripes & Pearls this weekend at the upscale Union Club of Cleveland. While you may not be in the tier of folks who wear pearls and who can spring for a ticket to the VIP cocktail hour (which is sold out anyway), you can help out this innovative little group, founded by artistic director/oboe player Debra Nagy 17 years ago, by buying a ticket to the 7:30pm concert.
Nagy and three of the ensemble’s other core members- violinist Shelby Yamin, cello player Rebecca Landell and harpsichordist Mark Edwards will play a concert featuring music by François Couperin, Jean-Philippe Rameau, Billy Strayhorn, Errol Garner, Jerry Gray/Glenn Miller, and J.S. Bach. The concert is followed by a dessert reception with a cash bar. Get tickets here.
