We don’t know how long vintage shop the Guest Room has been open on Scranton Road, but when we found out that it’s run by a pair of Siamese mix felines, we knew we were going to have to visit soon. We might not make it this Saturday — it’s Pride in the CLE — but if you’re free and love cats (we HOPE so!) it might be a good time to stop in as they’re hosting their first ever outdoor community market.

There’ll be artists of all types offering their fine art and handmade items, vintage dealers, bakers and food vendors and other small NEO businesses Millie’s Cocktail Bar, which recently opened on Waterloo Road, will be doing a cocktail pop-up on the patio, and DJ Jihad Dennis will be providing some music to shop by. There’ll be things happening all around the shop, in the driveway, backyard and patio areas. And the store will be open if you want to go in and see what the cats are up to.
