There is only a little summer left, so take advantage of the nice almost-autumn days while you still can. And nothing is better for your state of mind than being outdoors.
Ayurveda-inspired yoga instructor Kim Scott Sowinski hosted an outdoor yoga class at Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Hines Hill campus for the Summer Solstice and now she’s bookending the summer with another for the Autumn Equinox at the same location.
“Celebrate the Autumn Equinox by practicing yoga outdoors in nature where the energies of light and dark are held in balance, as the days continue to grow shorter and we make the descent into longer nights,” they suggest, sharing that Sowinski will “lead you in soothing twists and balances, to integrate the left and right side of your body. Hip openers help to release and settle, honoring the Earth’s seasonal turn toward rest and regeneration. This quieter and softer practice will help you embrace surrender, grace and trust as you turn inward toward rest and respite.”
The session is followed by refreshments. Go here to register.
