The mirror balls will be spinning and dance instructors will teach you how to bust a move like 1970s John Travolta at the Akron Art Museum’s Circa Disco party.
Once you have the moves down, get out on the floor and show them off as DJ Deana aka MixingVixen spins the tracks. The evening will also feature the opportunities to design your own disco glasses (whatever those are; I lived through disco and don’t remember them) and screen print at tee or tote bag (bring your own and snag one at the Museum Shop), and then take a photo in the retro Photo Booth. The galleries will be open late. You can purchase some pizza or grab some free popcorn. There’s a cash bar as well, although if you buy a VIP ticket, it’s open bar for you!
