One of the highlights of the monthly Walkabout Tremont this month is 818 Studios’ poster sale from the collection of Greg Hovanec Jr, Greg’s Ultimate Super Fantastic Poster Show. It will feature more than 120 local and national concert posters collected by the late music enthusiast by artists such as Jake Kelly, John Hicks and MUNK, as well as some original art by Clevelander Kelly. The sale is a benefit for Hovanec’s family.
Across the street at Kaiser Gallery, Cincinnati artist Alexa Wehrman, whose work is on view there in Coveted III: Histories will be doing a free art performance. Her work looks at her own search for identity as a young queer woman.
As usual, Tremont’s many restaurants and bars will have Walkabout specials, this month including fish fries, and there’ll be live music at CODA and the Rosehip Room.
