A Trinity Cathedral tradition — and popular holiday custom — returns this year for the first time since 2019: its annual Messiah sing-along, featuring excerpts from Frideric Handel’s beloved 1741 oratorio.
In 2020 it re-broadcast excerpts of the previous year so people could sing along at home and it substituted a program of familiar carols in 2021. But now the “hallelujahs” are back as people are invited to come to the cathedral and join the Trinity Chamber Orchestra and soloists to sing their little hearts out. It’s the final edition of the fall series of Trinity’s weekly Brownbag concerts. It’s free and open to all, no matter what level of singer you are.
