Norweigan Vocal Trio Celebrates Yule at Cleveland Museum of Art

Wed 12/7 @ 7:30-9:30PM

Trio Mediæval out of Oslo, Norway, has toured around the world in the 25 years since its founding, sharing its distinctive music, with a repertoire which draws from both sacred and folk music, aswell as contemporary compositions, and adds improvisational elements. Members Anna Maria Friman, Linn Andrea Fuglseth and Jorunn Lovise Husan blend their voices in harmonies that have earned them international acclaim.

When they perform at the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Gartner Auditorium, they’ll be bringing a seasonal program called Wolcome Yole, comprising Scandinavian Christmas songs and hymns, medieval English carols, and new works commissioned by the trio.
