Live Rock & Roll Band Backs Performers at Whole Lotta Love Burlesque

Bella Sin, founder of Cleveland Burlesque, is always coming up with new angles and themes for the group’s regular shows at the Beachland Ballroom. The upcoming one is no different. Rather than each performer providing taped music to accompany their performance, a Cleveland band called The Beams will be playing the music live at Whole Lotta Love Live burlesque, a celebration of rock & roll.

They’ll perform music by Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Melissa Etheridge, Jefferson Airplane and more in a room setup that’s different from the usual one. The cast includes a lot of faces Cleveland Burlesque patrons have enjoyed at previous shows: locals Lola Loveletter, Poppy Poison and Ms. Holly Grail, Columbus’ Scarlett Chaton (herself a musician), Ruby Rabbit and Empress Dupree. Of course Bella Sin herself, Cleveland’s burlesque queen, will be joining them in the lineup. And once again, humorist/author/college professor Ken Schneck will be emceeing the show with his audience-engaging wit.

It’s 18 and over. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
