Final Friday in Cleveland Heights’ Coventry Village should be especially fun this month, as it becomes the CovenTREAT Trick or Treat event.
Everyone’s invited to come down in costume to enjoy all the activities local merchants and organizations will be putting on. Trick or treat at local businesses during the Candy Crawl from 5-7 while Abstract Sounds is providing live music. There’ll be discounted shopping, food and drink specials from 5-8 and from 5-7pm, the Cleveland Photo Fest Photography Stroll will give visitors the change to see and buy work from a number of top local photographers.
There’ll be things going on over at the Coventry PEACE Campus as well, including Haunted Haikus and Mask making at Lake Erie Ink (4:30-6:30), open studios at ARTFUL (6-9pm), performances and displays a Robin VanLear’s Art Acts Studio, and a live performance by the Singers’ Club of Cleveland at 7pm.
It wraps up at 7:30 with the last Movie in the Park, a free screening of the 1993 film Hocus Pocus about a trio of 17th-century Salem witches accidentally revived by a modern boy on Halloween, showing in the PEACE Park, weather permitting. Bring chairs and blankets!
